The Warborough & Shillingford Society welcomes you to our community.
To help you to find your way around and to discover what the community has to offer we have produced a map and the following notes on local organisations, services, amenities and groups which we hope you will find useful. This information has been put together by the Warborough and Shillingford Society
Warborough & Shillingford Society
The W&S Society encourages everyone to become involved in our community, whether through joining a society, volunteering or simply joining in the many activities Warborough and Shillingford has to offer.
It only costs £5 to join the Society, as a “lifetime member” and volunteers to join our small Committee are always welcome!
We organise talks on topics of general interest, host quiz nights and other social events, arrange regular “litter-picks” to keep our verges tidy and support other activities that help preserve and protect our beautiful villages. We also run a village archive, to capture and share the history of Warborough & Shillingford.
Details of any up-coming events are published in the village magazine and on notice boards around the villages. You do not have to be a member to come along!
We are keen to support all new activities and projects in W&S, so if you need help or have an idea about something new for everyone to enjoy, contact us and we’ll see if we can help!

Parish Magazine
Probably the most useful guide to what is happening in our villages is the Parish Magazine.
It is published monthly and therefore provides up to date information on organisations and events.
(July/August issues and December/January issues are combined into single issues).
Monthly issues will be delivered to your door.

. NEVER “Reply to All” to an email from a List member.
If you break the rules, you may be contacted by the Moderator who can exclude you.
