The Warborough &Shillingford Neighbourhood Plan was implemented in 2018. It followed several years of community consultations which produced a plan supported by over 90% of residents at referendum. It helps the local authority make planning decisions.
Planning laws have changed since then; our villages have changed – a bit – and perhaps our priorities have changed or widened, too.
In 2023 we began the process of a review process to ensure that our Neighbourhood Plan (NP) is aligned with the latest changes in district and national planning laws, and therefore is as strong as possible for consideration within the planning decision-making framework.
Local involvement in consultations makes a robust plan. Please follow the progress of the team of NP volunteers on the local email group, in Parish Council meetings and in the Parish Magazine, and get involved in consultations and events to ensure your voice is heard.
