Walks & Footpaths

Warborough and Shillingford abound with public footpaths giving access to the surrounding countryside including the local section of The Thames Path (please note that The Thames Path diverts along the A4074, down Wharf Road and via Catsgrove Lane to reconnect with the river at Shillingford Bridge).

See the Oxfordshire Countryside Access Map:

Also, there is a small guide called ‘Warburton’s Walks’ (in memory of Paul Warburton, a local farmer) which gives details of 24 circular walks in and around South Oxfordshire (available to purchase in bookshops and online)
